| | Jim Moran, President and CEO
Jim Moran has more than 20 years of experience in high-growth,
venture-backed businesses. Prior to joining Covergence, Jim was Executive Vice
President and Co-Founder of edocs, a pioneer in on-line account management and
web self-service solutions targeting the global 1000. edocs was acquired by
Siebel Systems (NASDAQ: ORCL), in 2005. Jim was also an investor, board member
and Chief Operating Officer of Virtusa (NASDAQ: VRTU), a category leading
provider of global off-shore software development and IT related services. Jim
played a key role in helping to position Virtusa for a successful IPO in 2007.
Prior to edocs and Virtusa, Jim was SVP of Sales & General Manager at
CheckFree during a period of dramatic growth when the company grew from $25M to
over $250M in revenue and achieved a successful IPO in 1996. Jim holds a BA from
Northeastern University and is also a private investor, board member and
adviser to several organizations.
| | Kenneth Kuenzel, Founder, VP Engineering and CTO
Ken is responsible for setting the company's overall technical direction and product architecture as well as the on-time delivery of high-quality products. Over the last 25 years Ken has successfully brought large complex networking systems to market and enjoys a well deserved reputation for delivering high quality products in a timely, cost effective manner. Prior to founding Covergence, Ken was a Founder and the System Architect of Tiburon Networks, Founding Team and System Architect of Aptis Communications, and consulting engineer at both Shiva and Digital Equipment Corporation.
| | Greg Stott, Chief Financial Officer
Greg is responsible for leading all finance, investor relation, human resource, and information technology functions. Greg brings nearly 20 years of experience working with technology companies. Most recently, Greg served as the Vice President of Finance, Administration & Treasurer at Telica, a leading provider of Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) communication systems for next-generation networks. Greg was a key member of the senior management team responsible for the sale of Telica to Lucent Technologies. Prior to Telica, Greg held senior management positions at Agile Networks (Acquired by Lucent), Leaf Systems (Acquired by Scitex), and Leading Edge Products. Greg began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at Ernst & Young.
| | Rod Hodgman, Vice President of Marketing
Rod was a member of the Covergence founding team and is responsible for positioning the company's session management solutions for maximum value and growth. Rod brings over 25 years of related business experience in technology start-ups and large companies. Prior to joining Covergence, Rod was the VP Product Marketing, Enterprise Products at Macromedia where he was responsible for the definition and introduction of Flex, an XML-based programming environment for the creation of rich, multi-modal Internet applications based on the Flash platform. Prior to Macromedia, Rod was COO of WorldStreet Corporation, a developer of real-time collaborative solutions for institutional equity broker/dealers and their customers. He has also held positions as VP of Marketing at Borland, VP of Marketing at Open Environment Corporation and various executive management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation.
| | Paul Skinner, Vice President of Hardware
Paul is responsible for all hardware development activities including architecture and design, procurement and operations. Paul is a 16 year veteran of the networking industry and has consistently delivered complex, leading edge networking products over the years. Paul was a founder and director of hardware development at Tiburon Networks. At Tiburon, Paul acted as the hardware architect and technical lead for the hardware team. Prior to Tiburon, Paul was a founding member of Aptis Communications (subsequently sold to Nortel) where he was the primary hardware architect of the CVX1800 Access Switch. Before Aptis, Paul was the lead hardware engineer at Shiva Corporation where he developed the T1 RAS switch. Paul held various hardware development positions at Alloy Computer Products prior to Shiva.
