Solution Overview

The Covergence Border Manager (CBM) is designed specifically to sit at key control points in the network, in line with all SIP signaling and media traffic, to enforce fine-grained security, control, monitoring and interoperability policies on VoIP and Unified Communications signaling and media traffic. This enables organizations to extend VoIP and UC applications across network, organizational and vendor boundaries in a way that is secure, reliable, manageable and in compliance with internal policies and external regulations. In most cases, CBM can be deployed with no changes to the existing network.
